Tuesday, Oct, 15, 2019. That was the day Elijah came home from sixth grade and said he needed to build a container for an egg drop experiment in science class. The challenge: build a container without using any soft material inside the container. Put the egg in the container and drop it from a rooftop more than thirty feet in the air. Engineer a container that stops the egg from breaking.
It was due the next day. Here is what we came up with.
But before that success, we needed to learn some things.
It was time to go back to the drawing board. Reexamine every assumption. Revisit every design decision. Build it better. And stronger.
