This phishing scam to lure American 2nd Amendment activists could have been a classic. It starts nicely, referencing a telephone call I was never on to throw me off balance. And then they plagiarize NRA outrage statements that flew around Twitter months ago to really make me mad at the liberal conspiracy taking over the world.

But then, in a message supposedly about the United States 2nd Amendment, they don’t even bother to disguise a URL from Hungary. But maybe by now I’m mad enough that I won’t notice. The word salad at the bottom to get past spam filters is also a nice touch. But if you’re targeting Americans likely to hate foreigners, you should probably change the Middle-eastern names in your random sentences.

I give this one a C-. Nice idea, poor execution.

2nd Amendment phishing. Nice idea, lazy execution.
