No sense sugar coating this with polite language. The 2023 Republican party is a war zone between Donald Trump cult members and everyone else. The Trump cult is winning. Every opinion poll shows Trump with an overwhelming lead against all competitors for the 2024 GOP nomination, and, so far, nothing and nobody will change Trump cult minds. In the Trump cult, lawsuit losses, criminal indictments, scandals, daily unintelligible social media rants, even revelations from his own family, inner circle, and media supporters are all part of a deep state liberal conspiracy to stop the last best hope to save the United States from, well, from whatever Donald Trump says is wrong.

Why does the Trump cult stay together despite all the scandals swirling around him? Many believe Trump operates in a different realm than the rest of humanity and deserves our worship.

I find it hilarious that you people have that much hate for a person that isn’t even in your realm.

Why the worship? Because Trump cult members buy into the victim hogwash he unleashes at his rallies, where he harps about all the bad things that will happen unless he wins. Which leads to a big question: how will the Trump cult respond if he loses in 2024?

I’ll offer a few predictions. First, by the time of the 2024 election, Trump will be a convicted felon. But Trump cult members will cry that prosecutors, judges, and juries in all trials that find him guilty are part of a weaponized deep state out to get the one person capable of cleaning up all the evil in the world.

Don’t believe me? Look at what Trump cult members say in late 2023 and early 2024. They dismiss movements such as Black Lives Matter and MeToo by claiming followers of those movements are fake victims, but then they complain that deep state liberals in government and media victimize them. They’ve embraced this victim double-standard for years. They’ll do it even more after a 2024 election loss.

They’ll update their attack against voting machines to include AI (Artificial Intelligence). They’ll claim that evil deep-staters and overseas enemies conspire to introduce hidden AI algorithms into voting systems to make fake vote counts look good for the opposition and bad for Trump. Trump cult members will claim the fake counts are so good, they’re undetectable, which proves they’re fake. Catch the logic? Millions will buy it.

They’ll continue exploiting Facebook, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), and other social media platforms to amplify messages about how big tech victimizes them by censoring their messages about how big tech censors them. Catch the logic again? Anyone who challenges them is either a RINO (Republican in Name Only) or a deep state liberal activist.

Trump cult members consider Trump their savior and believe he is their voice. They like it when Trump says immigrants poison the blood of our country. They love it when Trump tells them they’re victims.

I hope I’m wrong. I pray that Trump cult members who claim they’re Christian will wake up and heed this advice from Matthew, Chapter 7, verses 15-16. “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?”

What does orchestrating slates of 2020 fake electors, destroying the lives of Georgia election workers, inciting insurrection, mishandling our most classified documents to impress friends, and a decades-long list of swindles tell you about Trump’s fruits? Trump is not your savior and not worthy to be your voice. Jesus is our savior. Your own voice works just fine.

A long time ago, I listened to my father-in-law and other men supposedly wiser than me complain to each other that they were victims of the raw deal the world had dealt them. They made me mad. If you guys are such victims, then why don’t you do something about it? What’s stopping you? What happened to your personal responsibility? But I kept my mouth shut out of respect for my elders. If I could travel back through time and talk to my younger self, I would tell him to speak up. In the United States of America, we believe that all people are created equal, and we’re all endowed by our creator with certain unalienable rights. Our founding fathers wrote these principles into our Declaration of Independence, one of our most sacred documents.

Don’t throw our American ideals away for a false promise from a con artist.
